Description

Kabuu Video Downloader is a free program that allows you to grab video and audio content from YouTube.

You also have the option to convert the downloaded content in a different format. Currently, the existing version runs only on Microsoft Windows OS.

Kabuu Video Downloader is one of the most accessible tools that you can use to download YouTube content. The software interface is intuitive and focused on three main areas.

Provide one or more URLs to download from.

- just copy and paste a link from your browser

- click on "Add Link," and you have several ways to add one or multiple URLs.

- "Links" does the same thing: add several URLs that you wish to download.

Edit (or the Settings button)

- you can choose the preferred format you wish to save.

- control the download speed (impose restrictions)

- select the output folder

- overwrite option

- enter your account credentials

Download (call to action)

- choose the format, select conversion into MP3 or not.

Here's a simple usage example

I want to download a presentation from YouTube. This program allows me to save it as a video or as an MP3 so I can either watch or listen to the content. If I choose to convert a video file into an MP3, the program also eliminates the need to use a different program for MP3 conversion.

Conclusion

There are many similar tools such as YTD, Video DownloadHelper, 4k Video Downloader, Freemake Video Converter, ClipGrab and a ton of sites. However, most of them are either freemium (not all features are available so you would need to buy a paid version) or worse filled with bundles (bundleware) which raises other malware related problems.

Kabuu Video Downloader is clean, free of bundles, malware or other nasty stuff and it is free. There's no point to pay or use a shady service when Kabuu Video Downloader is such a great and free alternative.
