Description
VirtualGL is software that allows users to run OpenGL applications on remote servers and display them on local X servers.
It is compatible with Linux, macOS, and Windows. On macOS and Windows it is supported for client machines only. VirtualGL has the server do the 3D rendering, so only the resulting 2D images are sent to the client machine. TurboVNC, a high-speed virtual X server designed for 3D and video applications, is a related project that works with VirtualGL.
VirtualGL is made by The VirtualGL Project. It is free, open-source software released under the wxWindows Library License. Its source code is on GitHub.
VirtualGL Features
