Windows already includes simple PDF printing in many contexts, so clawPDF is most compelling when output control, profiles, additional formats, automation, or network printing matter.

The tradeoff is complexity. Users who only need an occasional PDF may not need the extra options, while administrators and document-heavy teams may value the ability to standardize output behavior across applications and users.

Virtual Printer Use

clawPDF works through the print pipeline, so any application that can print can potentially feed it. That is useful for converting documents from mixed applications without teaching users a separate export process for each program.
